Toms_Giving Social Impact:
Sport Sneaker V2
The Toms giving shoes main goal is to help protect people living in communities that are prone to foot-related infection, injury or disease. Often, among other requirements, shoes adhere to specific dress codes for students to attend school. A new pair of well-fitting, weather-appropriate shoes can raise children's confidence and increase a sense of well-being. The original sport sneaker has been given to Toms partners in the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and the United States since 2013.
CONSUMER PERFORMANCE FEEDBACK (ORIGINAL SPORT SNEAKER)
DESIGN OBJECTIVE
Sport Sneaker V2 Objective:
Create a new durable sports sneaker, designed with both hook and loop and lace-up versions available for children. It must meet the needs of Giving Partners for distribution as part of their
"Health, wellness, or sports programming"
Issues with original sport sneaker:
• Separation Upper-Outsole
• Threads Undone
• Frayed Edges
• Difficulty Wearing
• Thin Quality Material
• Weak Heel Pull
